Mt Daibosatsu (大菩薩嶺)

Located in the Yamanashi side of Chichibu Tama Kai National Park. From the Southern Alps from the summit, you can see Mt.Fuji. There are two trailheads, Kamihikawa-Tōge and Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi – both can be access by public transit and both has parking (I hiked both - one by myself and other with Haruki). Both trails are easy to walk.

One of the “100 Famous Mountains” of Japan. Located in Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, on the border between Yamanashi, Nagano, Saitama, and Tokyo. There are few courses – I choose course starts Kamihigawa pass (high-elevation trailhead is at1580M). Hike is relatively easy – it took us around 5 hours (including lunch). No truly hazardous sections so good for beginners and children.

“The life would have been easier had I not learned to challenge my own fears, had I not considered other possibilities, had I believed everything I was told (including things that was coming from my own brain). But easy has never been the point., if I didn’t take that first step out of my comfort zone, I couldn’t have traveled in 38 countries, I couldn’t have sailed across Atlantic, I couldn’t have cycled across US, Mexico &Japan, I couldn’t have worked in half a dozen of countries, and I couldn’t have done so many things I’ve done. If I had believed what I was told and let my own fears dictate my life, what boring life it would have been”
